Action Item CZCP-PR-12-1: Doug Wilson will sent the list of six participants to be funded by the GEO Secretariat to Douglas Cripe. Responsible: Doug Wilson, Deadline: 2011-01-28.

Action Item CZCP-PR-12-4: Hans-Peter Plag will ask Vanessa Gutierrez to prepare the following items for the workshop:

  • a list of participants including their affiliation and contact details;
  • badges for all participants with name, organization, and country;
  • a folder to hand out with material about GEO, GEOSS, pre-studies, tourist organizations, cruise liners, and local material;

Action Item CZCP-PR-10-3: Douglas Cripe will ensure that invitations are sent to all Ministries of Tourism in the Carribbean. Responsible: Douglas Cripe, Deadline: 2011-01-24.

Report: Roy A. Watlington reported that he had established contact with the Secretariat of CDEMA and expected feedback in the near future. Reported on 2011-01-19 by Hans-Peter Plag.

Action Item CZCP-PR-7-4: Roy A. Watlington will look at the document under the link 'Sustainable Tourism in SIDS' available on the workshop web page and provide input to Hans-Peter Plag. Responsible: Roy A. Watlington, Deadline: 2010-12-09.

Action Item CZCP-PR-4-3: Julio Morell will follow up contacts to the Governor's office in order to find out to what extent the office may want to participate in the workshop. Responsible: Julio Morell, Deadline: 2010-11-19.

Status of Action Item CZCP-PR-4-3: Open.
Report: In November 2010, Julio Morell reported that he approached the contact at the DNER, and his feeling was that if the Governor would come, then other high cabinet members would also come. It would also be possible to have the Governor's wife come, who is a good speaker and a lawyer.

Michael Bruno reported in January that he involved his contacts in Puerto Rico to ensure high-level governmental participation at the workshop. Reported on 2011-01-19 by Hans-Peter Plag.
